We are looking for a dynamic and driven Insurance Producer to join our thriving sales team. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in the insurance sales industry, specifically in property and causality insurance and commercial lines. The ideal candidate will be a go-getter with a passion for sales and a deep understanding of the insurance market.
Responsibilities:
As a Insurance Producer with us, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
1. Selling various types of insurance policies to businesses and individuals on behalf of the company, including property and casualty insurance and commercial lines insurance.
2. Developing marketing strategies and promoting all types of new insurance contracts or suggesting additions/changes to existing ones.
3. Breeding productive relationships to create a pool of prospective clients from various sources by networking, cold calling, using referrals, etc.
4. Evaluating business or individual customers’ needs and financial status and proposing protection plans that meet their criteria.
5. Working with clients to deliver risk management strategies that fit their risk profiles.
6. Monitoring insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction.
7. Achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
8. Constantly updating job knowledge and learning about new products and services.
9. Fulfilling all policy requirements.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically with property and causality insurance and commercial lines.
2. A proven track record of successful sales experience.
3. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
4. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to exceed sales targets.
5. The ability to analyze and understand complex information.
6. The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
7. Proficiency in using computers for a variety of tasks.
8. The ability to manage time and plan your day effectively.
9. A professional appearance.
10. A valid license to practice the profession of insurance sales.
