Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Oversee the preparation and timely submission of all external financial reports, including quarterly and annual reports.
- Manage the EPS and maintain the CPA, ensuring all financial operations are in compliance with statutory regulations and legislation.
- Oversee intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Lead monthly financial reporting and analysis, providing key insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Coordinate and manage the financial consolidation process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
- Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
- Mentor and develop a team of senior accountants, managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with EPS, Financial Statements, External Reporting, Intercompany, Monthly Reporting, and Consolidations.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles and procedures.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing a team.
- Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial data and information to non-financial managers.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills. Experience with accounting software and systems is a plus.
