Job Details

Responsibilities -

+ Lead clients and design teams through all project phases, from programming and concept development to final installation.
+ Conduct space planning, develop materials specifications, and create compelling design concepts.
+ Prepare detailed construction documents, finish plans, signage plans, elevations, and schedules.
+ Oversee project budgets related to interior design and advise clients on realistic expectations.
+ Inspect installations for compliance with design intent and contractual requirements.
+ Maintain and update resource libraries and standards for furnishings, finishes, and materials.
+ Support marketing efforts, client presentations, and contribute to the growth of the interior design practice.
+ Manage, mentor, and support the interior design team.
+ Facilitate staff development and conduct performance evaluations.
+ Oversee project staffing, schedule coordination, and team meetings.
+ Perform administrative tasks related to timekeeping, expenses, and PTO approvals.
+ Participate in company-wide meetings and training initiatives.

Qualifications -

+ Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited institution.
+ NCIDQ certification required, or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial interior design.
+ Proven ability to lead projects and teams.
+ Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Revit required.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
