Job Details
We are actively seeking a dynamic, experienced Interior Designer to join our growing team! This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including multifamily, hospitality, and mixed-use projects. You will be part of a collaborative team that values creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for:
1. Developing innovative design concepts for a variety of projects, including multifamily, hospitality, and mixed-use projects.
2. Creating detailed construction documents using AutoCAD and other design software.
3. Ensuring all design elements adhere to current building codes and regulations.
4. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure design consistency and integrity.
5. Participating in construction administration, including reviewing construction drawings and conducting site visits to ensure design intent is maintained during construction.
6. Presenting design concepts and progress updates to clients and stakeholders.
7. Keeping up-to-date with current design trends, materials, and technologies to ensure our projects remain innovative and competitive.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Interior Designer with experience in multifamily, hospitality, or mixed-use projects.
2. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and other design software.
3. A comprehensive understanding of building codes and regulations.
4. Experience in construction administration and preparing construction documents.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
6. A bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
7. Professional registration or certification in Interior Design is desirable but not essential.
