Job Details

We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the nuances of interior design, the ability to create stunning design interiors, and a knack for transforming spaces into functional, aesthetically pleasing environments. This role will require you to work closely with our engineering team, clients and other stakeholders to create designs that meet specific requirements while maintaining the highest design standards. This position is offering an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to our company's reputation for design excellence!

Responsibilities:

1. Develop innovative and creative interior design concepts that align with client needs and project objectives.
2. Utilize software tools such as SketchUp to create detailed design plans and 3D models.
3. Conduct space planning, taking into account functionality, comfort, and safety.
4. Select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the design concept and budget.
5. Prepare comprehensive construction documentation including plans, details, and specifications.
6. Apply design principles and knowledge of interior architecture to ensure designs are practical, aesthetically pleasing, and compliant with all relevant regulations.
7. Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and coordinate with contractors and consultants to ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction.
8. Attend site visits and meetings, providing design input and ensuring adherence to design plans.
9. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the interior design field with an architecture or interior design firm.
3. Proficiency in SketchUp is required. AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
4. Strong knowledge of space planning, material selection, and construction documentation.
5. Excellent understanding of design principles and interior architecture.
6. Experience in submittal review and responding to RFIs.
7. Exceptional visual and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. A portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of designs and a strong creative aesthetic.
10. Professional accreditation (NCIDQ, CID, LEED, etc.) is preferred.
