Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Interiors Superintendent, you will:

1. Oversee all aspects of interior construction projects from planning to implementation, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
2. Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and productivity.
3. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
4. Review work progress daily, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
5. Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists, fostering a cooperative environment.
6. Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local construction regulations are met.
7. Resolve any problems that may arise, providing solutions that promote project continuity and client satisfaction.
8. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial interiors and remodels.
2. Experience in healthcare construction is highly desirable.
3. Proven track record of successfully overseeing and delivering interior projects on time and within budget.
4. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
5. Excellent understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles.
6. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
7. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and issues.
8. Proficient in using construction management software.
9. A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field is a plus.
