We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Internal Medicine Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive healthcare services to a diverse patient population. You will have the chance to work in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment where your skills will be utilized to provide high-quality, evidence-based care.
Responsibilities
As an Internal Medicine Physician, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Providing comprehensive and continuous care to patients, including consultations, evaluations, and treatments.
2. Diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute conditions, illnesses, and injuries.
3. Developing and implementing patient management plans, recording progress notes, and assisting in the provision of continuity of care.
4. Managing and treating common health problems, such as infections, influenza, and pneumonia, as well as serious, chronic, and complex illnesses, in adolescents, adults, and the elderly.
5. Coordinating and managing patient care with other healthcare professionals, including specialists.
6. Conducting research to promote health, prevent diseases, and develop new treatment approaches.
7. Participating in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and patient care, professional, research and peer review activities.
8. Providing health education to patients and families on disease prevention and health promotion.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Internal Medicine Physician position should possess the following qualifications:
1. Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
2. Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine.
3. Board certification in Internal Medicine.
4. Valid and current state medical license.
5. A minimum of 1 years of experience practicing as an Internal Medicine Physician.
6. Demonstrated ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of acute conditions.
7. Exceptional clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
8. Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) software and other healthcare IT systems.
9. Ability to work in a team, as well as independently, with minimal supervision.
10. Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.
11. Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to make sound medical decisions, and capacity to handle high-stress situations.
