As a International Tax Accountant in the Scientific industry, you will play a pivotal role in our global financial operations. You will be responsible for preparing U.S. income tax compliance for international operations, including E&P, Subpart F, GILTI, and Forms 5471 and 8858. You will also be responsible for transfer pricing and various other tax-related tasks. As a International Tax Accountant in the Scientific industry, you will play a pivotal role in our global financial operations. You will be responsible for preparing U.S. income tax compliance for international operations, including E&P, Subpart F, GILTI, and Forms 5471 and 8858. You will also be responsible for transfer pricing and various other tax-related tasks. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review U.S. international tax compliance requirements including E&P, Subpart F, GILTI, and Forms 5471 and 8858.
- Conduct and manage transfer pricing studies and documentation.
- Assist with international tax aspects of U.S. federal tax compliance, including calculation of foreign tax credits, Subpart F income, GILTI, BEAT, and FDII.
- Assist with the preparation and review of tax provisions under ASC 740, including FIN 48 and APB 23 analyses.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the international tax compliance and reporting process.
- Respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on international tax planning projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1+ years of relevant tax experience, preferably in a multinational corporation or a public accounting firm.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a CPA certification is preferred.
- Solid understanding of U.S. international tax principles, including Subpart F, E&P, foreign tax credits, and U.S. tax compliance.
- Proficiency in U.S. GAAP, specifically ASC 740.
- Experience with tax provision software and other related systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
