As a International Tax Accountant in the Scientific industry, you will play a pivotal role in our global financial operations. You will be responsible for preparing U.S. income tax compliance for international operations, including E&P, Subpart F, GILTI, and Forms 5471 and 8858. You will also be responsible for transfer pricing and various other tax-related tasks. This is a high-impact role that will provide you with an opportunity to leverage your expertise in tax law and compliance, while also gaining exposure to the fast-paced and innovative world of science and technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review U.S. international tax compliance requirements including E&P, Subpart F, GILTI, and Forms 5471 and 8858.
  • Conduct and manage transfer pricing studies and documentation.
  • Assist with international tax aspects of U.S. federal tax compliance, including calculation of foreign tax credits, Subpart F income, GILTI, BEAT, and FDII.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of tax provisions under ASC 740, including FIN 48 and APB 23 analyses.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the international tax compliance and reporting process.
  • Respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on international tax planning projects.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1+ years of relevant tax experience, preferably in a multinational corporation or a public accounting firm.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a CPA certification is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. international tax principles, including Subpart F, E&P, foreign tax credits, and U.S. tax compliance.
  • Proficiency in U.S. GAAP, specifically ASC 740.
  • Experience with tax provision software and other related systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
