Job Details

Responsibilities:

As an International Tax Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing and managing the preparation and review of the company's international tax compliance requirements, including local country tax returns and US reporting of international activity.
2. Leading the international component of the tax provision process under ASC 740 and ensuring the accuracy of the international tax balances on the financial statements.
3. Developing and implementing effective international tax planning strategies.
4. Managing and mitigating international tax risks and ensuring compliance with all international tax laws and regulations.
5. Working with finance and accounting teams to gather and analyze financial data.
6. Coordinating with external advisors to stay abreast of changes in international tax laws that could impact the company.
7. Assisting with tax audits and inquiries by governmental authorities.
8. Providing guidance and support to the broader finance team on international tax matters.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:

1. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in international income tax, preferably in the technology sector.
3. Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and its application to international tax.
4. Proven experience in tax planning and compliance for multinational corporations.
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.
7. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
8. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
9. A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. A strong understanding of the technology industry and its unique tax implications.
