We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic medical team. This is a full-time, permanent position within our Radiology Department, offering an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and a team of highly skilled medical professionals. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality radiologic care to our patients, including performing diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities:

As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Performing diagnostic imaging examinations using advanced radiological equipment, including X-ray, computed tomography (CT), and digital imaging.
2. Assisting physicians in performing interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times.
3. Producing high-quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions, ensuring proper patient positioning and image quality.
4. Adhering to radiation safety measures and conducting quality control tests to ensure the integrity of radiology equipment and procedures.
5. Maintaining accurate patient records, documenting all procedures performed, and ensuring patient confidentiality.
6. Collaborating closely with radiologists and other healthcare team members to discuss diagnostic plans and interpret radiographic results.
7. Participating in continued learning and professional development activities to stay updated with the latest advancements in radiologic technology.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
2. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
3. Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
4. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiological Technologist, with a focus on interventional procedures.
5. Proficiency in using radiologic technology and equipment, including X-ray production, computed tomography (CT), and digital imaging.
6. In-depth knowledge of radiographic procedures, patient positioning, and radiation safety measures.
7. Excellent communication and patient care skills, with the ability to explain procedures and comfort patients.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret diagnostic results and collaborate with the medical team.
9. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.
