We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our Accounting and Finance team. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to our company's success by optimizing our inventory management processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring our inventory, providing EDI support, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. This position requires extensive knowledge of SAP, Power BI, 3pl, and freight operations.

Responsibilities:
The Inventory Management Specialist will be responsible for the following:

1. Overseeing and managing inventory based on our company's demand and sales trends to increase efficiency and profitability.
2. Utilizing SAP software for inventory management and order processing.
3. Providing EDI support to help streamline our electronic communications and transactions.
4. Ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment to maintain customer satisfaction.
5. Using Power BI to analyze inventory data and generate insightful reports to guide decision-making.
6. Collaborating with freight companies to coordinate and optimize shipping procedures.
7. Working with 3pl providers to ensure efficient third-party logistics operations.
8. Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices.
9. Liaising with different departments to ensure inventory accuracy and consistency.
10. Identifying potential inventory issues and implementing proactive solutions.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certification will be an added advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the Accounting and Finance industry.
3. Proven experience in freight operations, EDI support, and order fulfillment.
4. Proficiency in using SAP for inventory management and order processing.
5. Strong skills in Power BI and ability to analyze and interpret complex inventory data.
6. Experience in working with 3pl providers and understanding of third-party logistics operations.
7. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and liaise with various departments.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
10. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in all areas of work.
