Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive inventory analysis to identify trends, anticipate needs, and mitigate potential problems.
2. Develop strategic material planning processes to optimize production and minimize costs.
3. Manage and maintain SKU data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all systems.
4. Utilize advanced supply chain forecasting techniques to predict future demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
5. Implement DIO (Days Inventory Outstanding) strategies to improve cash flow and reduce carrying costs.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of inventory planning processes.
7. Provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of inventory management, acting as a key resource for staff and management.
8. Continuously monitor and evaluate inventory management systems and processes, implementing improvements as necessary.
9. Prepare and present detailed reports on inventory metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
10. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in inventory management, incorporating best practices into our operations.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory planning or a related role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven expertise in inventory analysis, material planning, SKUs, supply chain forecasting, and DIO.
3. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues.
5. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
6. Proficiency in inventory management software and other relevant technology.
7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. A degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
9. Relevant certifications in inventory management or supply chain management will be an added advantage.
