Responsibilities
  • Lead complex patent and trademark litigation matters in federal courts, before the PTAB, and at the ITC
  • Manage global IP portfolios for clients across technology and life sciences sectors
  • Develop and execute IP enforcement and monetization strategies tailored to client goals
  • Negotiate licensing agreements, technology transfers, and conduct IP due diligence for corporate transactions
  • Draft and prosecute patent and trademark applications to secure broad protection
  • Provide legal opinions on freedom-to-operate, validity, and infringement risk assessments
  • Collaborate closely with technical and business teams to align IP strategy with product and market objectives
  • Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the growth and leadership of the IP practice

Job Details

Requirements
  • J.D. degree and at least 8 years of experience in intellectual property law
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Admission to the USPTO and at least one state bar
  • Proven track record in complex patent and trademark litigation and prosecution
  • Deep technical understanding of software, hardware, and/or life sciences technologies
  • Expertise in global IP portfolio management, licensing, and enforcement strategies
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Experience advising clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies
