Job Details

We are looking for a strategic, hands-on Group IT Director to oversee and elevate the technology landscape across our network of manufacturing companies. This high-impact role requires a leader who can drive long-term digital transformation while maintaining strong operational discipline in a multi-site industrial setting.

The ideal candidate will act as a change agent—bringing together fragmented systems into a unified, secure, and scalable environment—while guiding a mix of internal teams and external partners.



Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Standardization

Centralization: Define and implement a cohesive IT strategy that aligns with the needs of multiple manufacturing locations.
Policy Development: Establish and enforce standardized procedures and corporate IT policies to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Business Transformation: Drive process improvements by leveraging technology to enhance operational performance and data visibility.

2. Infrastructure & Data Security

Governance: Implement strong controls to maintain data integrity and ensure regulatory compliance across all entities.
Cybersecurity: Lead cybersecurity initiatives, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and disaster recovery strategies tailored to industrial control systems.
Infrastructure Management: Oversee both cloud and on-premise environments, including hardware, networking, and telecom systems, to support continuous production uptime.

3. Team & Vendor Management

Leadership: Lead, develop, and mentor internal IT teams, promoting accountability and technical excellence.
Vendor Oversight: Manage relationships with external vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
ERP Ecosystem: Partner with ERP consultants and developers to enhance and tailor systems to manufacturing operations.
Candidate Profile
Experience: 10+ years of IT leadership experience, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments.
Technical Expertise: Strong background in ERP systems, multi-site infrastructure, and cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001.
Project Management: Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
Communication: Skilled at translating technical concepts into clear business value for executive audiences.
Leadership: Experience managing distributed or remote teams across multiple locations.
