Responsibilities:

As a Hardware Support Engineer (Network Servers), you will be responsible for:

1. Providing first-class technical support for hardware and software issues across the organization.
2. Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues promptly and efficiently.
3. Performing hardware repairs and upgrades as necessary to ensure optimal system performance.
4. Administering, maintaining, and monitoring servers to ensure their security, reliability, and performance.
5. Serving as an escalation point for technical issues that cannot be resolved by first-level support.
6. Collaborating with other IT professionals to develop and implement IT solutions and improvements.
7. Maintaining the highest level of security and confidentiality in all aspects of work, in compliance with company and government standards.
8. Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends and applying this knowledge in your role.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the IT Hardware Support Engineer / Technical Support Engineer position, you must have:

1. This role requires a current U.S. government Top Secret/SCI security clearance with full scope polygraph.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar IT support role, with a focus on network hardware support, hardware repair, and server administration.
3. Proficiency in escalation support and providing high-level technical support.
4. CompTIA Security+ certification.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and understandable way.
7. A strong understanding of IT security principles and practices.
8. The ability to work well in a team, as well as independently, and to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
