Job Details
We're looking for a strategic and hands-on IT QA Manager (PMO) to lead the charge in transforming our QA processes and ensuring seamless delivery of high-impact IT projects. You will be shaping testing strategies, champion best practices, and work cross-functionally to elevate the quality of everything we deliver—from applications and infrastructure upgrades to enterprise-wide initiatives.
What You'll Do
Own and continuously improve a robust quality assurance strategy framework aligned with business goals and our technology roadmap.
Oversee all testing phases including functional, performance, regression, integration, and user acceptance for both projects and operational releases.
Work closely with PMs, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders (change and release mgmt) to embed quality into every stage of the development lifecycle.
Identify and implement opportunities to integrate automation and efficiency across QA processes.
Develop standardized test documentation, ensure compliance with industry and internal standards, and maintain
high-quality deliverables.
Track, analyze, and report on QA metrics, defects, and overall project quality status.
Be a key voice in quality-related decision-making and a mentor to QA team members
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
6+ years in IT Quality Assurance (10+ without a degree)
2+ years in a QA leadership or managerial role
Expertise in QA and project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP-ALM, Silk, Load/Performance Testing tools)
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud services, and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, Data Analytics)
Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or ITIL
Experience in healthcare and/or supply chain IT environments
