Job Details

A leading Building Automation & Controls contractor based in Southern California is seeking a skilled Electrician to join their growing team. This role supports the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical systems tied to building automation, DDC, HVAC controls, lighting, and wiring systems across a wide range of commercial and institutional projects.
You'll be working hands-on in a construction environment, interpreting technical blueprints, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and NEC standards while contributing to cutting-edge smart building technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, controls, and lighting systems related to BAS/DDC and HVAC.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Perform general and preventive electrical maintenance and inspections.
  • Diagnose issues with transformers, breakers, motor starters, and control circuits.
  • Troubleshoot and repair or replace faulty wiring, controllers, and components.
  • Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC), as well as local and state regulations.
  • Perform corrective maintenance on circuit breakers and other electrical infrastructure.
  • Operate a variety of electrical testing tools and equipment.

Qualifications:
  • OSHA 10-Hour Certification.
  • Completion of a state-approved electrical apprenticeship.
  • Possession of or progress toward a California Journeyman Electrician card.
  • Proven field experience as an electrician, preferably in controls or HVAC-related systems.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and electrical test equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
