Job Details

This role involves working on the installation, modification, expansion, and repair of electrical systems and related equipment within the high-voltage transmission and substation sector.

Travel Requirement: This position requires full-time travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with tasks as directed by the project foreman and manager, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assignments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, with proper care and handling of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Demonstrate consistent safe work practices, adhering to safety standards and regulations (O.S.H.A.).
  • Arrive punctually at designated job sites as scheduled.
  • Properly manage and store tools and equipment.
  • Organize materials and tools to ensure a neat and orderly workspace.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of Line School with certificate or transcripts
  • Department of Labor-recognized Journeyman Lineworker Certification or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of experience in transmission construction or a related field
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid CDL A
