Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research and analysis on various cases involving insurance defense, construction, defect, products, premises, liability, construction accidents, and property damage.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal correspondence.
- Attend and represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes.
- Prepare and present legal arguments to judges and juries in a clear and concise manner.
- Assist senior attorneys in managing caseloads and preparing for trials.
Job Details
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active membership in the California State Bar.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in insurance defense, construction, defect, products, premises, liability, construction accidents, and property damage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate legal arguments to judges, juries, and clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in legal research and writing, including Westlaw and LexisNexis.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other legal software.
