Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design of electrical power distribution and lighting systems
Coordinate electrical designs with architectural and engineering disciplines
Support the development of construction documents in line with project goals and timelines
Assist in maintaining compliance with codes and industry standards
Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in electrical engineering
Participate in professional development activities and training opportunities
Help evolve internal engineering standards and documentation practices
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the engineering field
Hands-on experience with power distribution and lighting system design
Relevant project experience in healthcare, higher education, or commercial building electrical systems
Solid understanding of current electrical and energy codes applicable to building design
Project management experience is a plus, but not required—this role offers a clear path for advancement into project management
