Job Details
Develop and implement lab operational SOPs to
Ensure employee safety when conducting business in R&D labs
Prevent contamination or cross-contamination in R&D labs
Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements
Manage R&D laboratory supplies and inventory
Gather inventory requests, make purchases, and receive items in the ERP system
Maintain lab supply list and monitor stock levels regularly
Track consumption rates and provide monthly expense reports
Track R&D expenses and collaborate with the R&D team to seek cost-saving opportunities
Provide training on lab operational SOPs to R&D staff regularly and as needed; monitor lab activities routinely to ensure lab operational SOPs are followed
Maintain lab equipment maintenance log, including temperature monitoring system for freezers and refrigerators
Coordinate installation of new lab equipment, including space and utility requirements
