Job Details

We seek a skilled litigation associate with 3 to 7 years of experience in labor and employment law. This role offers the opportunity to manage substantial litigation responsibilities—drafting pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and briefs; developing case strategy; communicating directly with clients; and representing them in court, arbitration, and agency proceedings under the mentorship of a veteran practice leader.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and hearings.

Aid in developing litigation strategy and managing case progression.

Conduct legal research, draft pleadings and briefs, prepare witness and deposition strategies.

Engage with clients directly across diverse industries.

Appear before federal, state, and administrative tribunals as needed.

Qualifications:

J.D. with admission to practice in Connecticut (additional admissions are nice to have)

3–7 years of litigation focused on labor and employment law—with exposure to discrimination claims, OSHA defense, noncompete disputes, or agency proceedings.

Solid appellate or brief-writing experience is a plus.

Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to thrive in a collegial, client-focused environment.
