Responsibilities

As a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney, you will:

1. Provide legal counsel to clients on a wide range of labor and employment law issues, including but not limited to, wage and hour disputes, workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, employee benefits, and labor relations.
2. Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
3. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to provide informed advice and recommendations to clients.
4. Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, severance agreements, and other labor-related documents.
5. Develop and implement effective legal strategies to protect clients' rights and interests.
6. Stay updated with the latest developments in labor and employment law to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
7. Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position should have:

1. A Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. At least 2 years of experience as a labor and employment attorney.
3. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
4. Knowledge of labor and employment laws, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.
5. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
6. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
10. The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
