Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Represent employers in a variety of labor and employment matters across both public and private sectors
- Manage litigation from inception through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, and depositions
- Draft, negotiate, and revise workplace documents such as employee handbooks, policies, and contracts
- Provide strategic counsel on compliance, workplace investigations, risk avoidance, and employment decisions
- Monitor changes in employment law and provide proactive guidance to clients
- Work closely with colleagues to develop practical, business-minded solutions to complex legal issues
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of employment law and litigation experience, ideally including dispositive motion and deposition work
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and communication skills
- Must be licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited university
