We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical industry. As a Permanent Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to expectant mothers and their newborns during labor and delivery. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for both mother and baby.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate care to expectant mothers and their newborns during labor and delivery
• Monitor fetal heart rate and uterine contractions to ensure safe delivery
• Administer medications and anesthesia as needed
• Assist with cesarean deliveries
• Educate patients on postpartum care and breastfeeding
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest healthcare practices and technologies

Qualifications:

• BLS certification
• Compact license
• Nursing Degree (BSN preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in labor and delivery
• OB/GYN or obstetrics nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
