Job Details
An Am Law 100 firm with a national platform is actively seeking a mid-level associate to join its Labor & Employment group in its Philadelphia office. The ideal candidate will bring 2 to 6 years of focused experience in employment law and a strong track record of handling both advisory and litigation matters.
Key Qualifications:
Deep familiarity with federal and state employment statutes, including those governing discrimination, wage and hour, disability accommodations, and family leave.
Proven ability to prepare legal documents such as position statements, employment agreements, separation agreements, and employee handbooks.
Skilled in motion practice, including drafting pleadings and dispositive motions in employment-related litigation.
Practical experience managing written discovery and the e-discovery process; deposition preparation experience is strongly preferred.
Prior work responding to administrative agency complaints or unfair labor practice charges, and experience supporting arbitration matters, would be a plus.
Candidate Profile:
Excellent academic credentials and admission to practice in Pennsylvania.
Clear, concise writing and strong verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a collaborative team environment.
Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to take ownership of assignments.
