Our firm is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and passionate Labor & Employment Attorney to join our team. This is a permanent, fully remote position, offering the unique opportunity to work from anywhere. You will be working on the plaintiff-side only, and there are no billable hours required, allowing for a balanced work-life. This role involves providing expert legal advice and representation to our clients, who are predominantly employees and labor unions. This role involves providing expert legal advice and representation to our clients, who are predominantly employees and labor unions. Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of labor and employment-related matters.
- Represent clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
- Conduct research and analysis of legal problems to develop case strategies.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and legal briefs.
- Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.
- Advocate for the rights of employees and labor unions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current labor and employment laws.
- Work collaboratively with our team to develop strategies for litigation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Labor & Employment Attorney.
- Must be licensed to practice law in California.
- Proven experience with Hour or equivalent.
- Exceptional research, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle a high volume of cases.
- Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation to our clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, with the ability to work in a fully remote environment.
- Passion for labor and employment law and a commitment to social justice.
