Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled Employment & Labor Associate or Counsel to join our client’s Houston, TX office. The ideal candidate will bring 3–4 years of labor and employment law experience, with a strong background in Texas employment litigation and counseling.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting legal research and drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery
Handling wage and hour claims (individual & class actions) in court and arbitration
Responding to government investigations and inquiries
Advising clients on employment-related matters, including policies, manuals, and compliance
Litigating in both state and federal courts (trial experience preferred)
Requirements:
3–4 years of labor & employment law experience
Strong litigation and counseling background in Texas
Active Texas Bar membership, in good standing
Ability to handle high-volume caseloads with precision
Strong work ethic, proactive, and collaborative team player
