Job Details

Responsibilities
  • Serve as external general counsel for private businesses and public entities in all aspects of labor and employment law.
  • Provide expert guidance on key federal and state employment laws, including ADA, ADEA, FMLA, NLRA, Title VII, FLSA, and relevant state laws.
  • Draft and review employment contracts, policies, handbooks, and other legal documents.
  • Engage in both proactive advising and defending employment claims through various stages of litigation.
  • Offer clear, proactive communication and expert advice to clients, ensuring their legal needs are met with confidence.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years in labor and employment law advising and/or employment litigation.
  • Admitted to practice in Minnesota and/or Wisconsin.
  • Familiarity with union negotiations and labor-management relations.
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations.
