Job Details

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture
  • 8+ years’ experience in a professional design office

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must meet skill level of Land Planner IV, plus the following:
  • Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) required
  • Member of American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) or other Professional/ Community Organizations
  • Extensive Knowledge of Regulations
  • Ability to Effectively Negotiate
  • Strong team leadership skills
  • Ability to prepare large contracts
  • Ability to Design Unique Solutions to Special Problems
  • Knowledgeable and understanding of regional planning
  • Ability to sketch and render at a professional level
  • Ability to problem solve and resolve disputes, including ability to intervene unresolved problems from other projects
  • Demonstrate excellent reconnaissance
  • Ability to handle out of town projects effectively
  • Excellent marketing skills including track record of repeat clients
