Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the data privacy and cybersecurity practice while shaping overall strategy and direction
- Take over and build upon key client relationships, while actively developing new business opportunities
- Collaborate closely with corporate and technology teams to deliver comprehensive legal counsel
- Oversee multiple complex matters simultaneously and maintain exceptional work quality under deadlines
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and contribute to firm leadership initiatives
Job Details
Requirements
- 15+ years advising clients on data privacy, cybersecurity, and IP strategy across diverse industries
- JD and currently licensed to practice law in Illinois or eligible to waive in through UBE score or willing to sit for the Illinois bar exam
- Established portable book of business required
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to manage and grow client relationships
- Strong leadership abilities and readiness to guide a practice area with minimal oversight
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple complex matters effectively
- Proven leadership in managing and growing teams while building and deepening client relationships; ready to step into a succession role
