Job Summary:
The Lead Air Conditioning Technician supervises the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems, ensuring high-quality work and efficient system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead air conditioning installation and service teams
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on AC units
Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
Train and mentor junior technicians in best practices
Communicate with clients and project managers on work progress and system status
Maintain detailed records of service activities and materials used
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in air conditioning installation and repair
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
Knowledge of HVAC safety codes and refrigerant handling certifications (e.g., EPA 608)
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical system components
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
