Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Cell Culture Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will be able to make a significant impact on the development of oncology therapies. This is onsite position.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the production of cell cultures, including primary tissue handling, media preparation, and cell culture maintenance
  • Develop and optimize cell culture protocols
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, including flow cytometers and other specialized instruments
  • Ensure compliance with GMP and GLP regulations and maintain accurate records of all laboratory activities
  • Analyze and interpret data generated from cell culture experiments and present findings to the team
  • Train and mentor junior technicians and interns in cell culture techniques and laboratory procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience as a lead cell culture technician in a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO environment
  • Strong knowledge of cell culture techniques, including primary tissue handling,, and cell culture maintenance
  • Experience with flow cytometry is preferred
  • Familiarity with GMP and GLP regulations and the ability to maintain accurate records of laboratory activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret data generated from cell culture experiments
  • Ability to train and mentor junior technicians and interns in cell culture techniques and laboratory procedures
