Job Details

Responsibilities:

As our Lead CNC Machinist, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the production process, ensuring that all parts are machined to exact specifications and high-quality standards.
2. Proving programs, operating controls, and setting offsets on a variety of CNC machines.
3. Deburring and inspecting quality parts for conformance to design specifications.
4. Designing, programming, and building mill fixtures to facilitate efficient production.
5. Building setup documents to aid in the smooth transition of parts from design to production.
6. Troubleshooting production issues and implementing effective solutions.
7. Operating both vertical and horizontal mills, with a focus on 4-axis machining.
8. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

1. 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
2. 4+ years of experience as a vertical machine operator.
3. 2+ years of experience programming in Mastercam.
4. Proficiency with Fanuc and Okuma control systems.
5. Experience with inspection tooling.
6. Ability to use a lockable toolbox, dead blow, allen wrenches, calipers, tape measure, dial, and travel indicator.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot production issues.
8. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
9. A commitment to producing high-quality work and maintaining a safe work environment.
