Job Details

As a Permanent Lead Data Scientist in Retail Analytics, you will be the driving force behind our data-driven approach to decision making. You will leverage your expertise in data science, machine learning, and retail analytics to uncover insights and drive our retail strategy. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions to meet our business objectives. This role will require you to work closely with various teams, including marketing, sales, finance, and operations, to ensure that our data analytics initiatives align with our overall business goals.

Qualifications:
  • BA or BS with strong coursework in a quantitative field such as Engineering, or in Data Science.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise-grade data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, MicroStrategy.
  • 2 years of experience in a senior analyst capacity.
  • Experience working in an enterprise or large-scale organization.
  • Experience with retail analytics and omnichannel.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
  • Expertise in machine learning frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn.
  • Experience in a cloud enterprise environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases, with a focus on transforming data.
  • Experience with BigQuery and Big Data.
  • Consumer Intelligence experience.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven leadership skills, with a track record of leading data science teams to deliver high-impact projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business value.
  • Utilize machine learning and advanced statistical techniques to create scalable solutions for business problems.
  • Analyze and interpret complex datasets to extract actionable insights that influence business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and identify opportunities to leverage data to drive business growth.
  • Develop and maintain predictive models for customer behavior, sales forecasting, and other key business metrics.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity in databases and data analysis tools.
  • Design and implement A/B testing processes and research methodologies.
  • Communicate complex quantitative analyses in a clear, precise, and actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
