Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer with a passion for problem-solving and a knack for leadership? We are seeking a dedicated and innovative individual to fill the role of Permanent Lead Field Service Engineer in our dynamic Engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, where you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality engineering solutions to our clients. Our ideal candidate should be a self-starter, comfortable with being a subject matter expert, and possess a strong understanding of electrical engineering and advanced PLC and HMI programming.

Responsibilities:

As the Lead Field Service Engineer, you will:

1. Lead and manage a team of field service engineers, ensuring they are trained, competent, and motivated to deliver top-quality service.

2. Work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide optimal engineering solutions.

3. Conduct advanced PLC and HMI programming tasks.

4. Perform root cause analysis on complex engineering issues and devise effective solutions.

5. Provide on-site electrical commissioning services, ensuring all equipment meets our rigorous quality standards.

6. Troubleshoot equipment issues, providing swift and effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

7. Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.

8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry advancements and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on electrical engineering and PLC and HMI programming.

3. Proven experience in conducting root cause analysis and troubleshooting equipment.

4. Experience in electrical commissioning.

5. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for finding innovative solutions to complex issues.

7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex engineering concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

8. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

9. The ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

10. A valid driver’s license and the willingness to travel as needed.
