Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and development of power electronics systems, including MW class inverters, converters, and motor drives.
2. Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers, ensuring the highest quality of work is achieved.
3. Collaborate with other departments to integrate power electronics systems into overall product designs.
4. Conduct detailed simulations and analyses of power electronics systems to ensure optimal performance.
5. Oversee the testing and validation of power electronics systems, ensuring they meet all required specifications and standards.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the design, development, and testing stages.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in power electronics technology and incorporate this knowledge into designs.
8. Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in power electronics design and development.
3. Proven experience leading a team of engineers in the successful completion of projects.
4. Strong knowledge of power electronics systems, including their design, development, and testing.
5. Proficiency in using Altium or similar electronics design software.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex power electronics issues.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
8. A results-oriented mindset, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure.
9. A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in power electronics technology.
