A bit about us:

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Lead Centrifugal Pump Service Technician to help establish and grow our new Dallas operation. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in the field and the shop, takes pride in doing the job right, and is ready to grow into a management position over time. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of centrifugal pump systems, a strong mechanical skill set, and the ability to oversee jobs from start to finish, including quoting, budgeting, and leading a growing team of technicians.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

Lead hands-on repair, maintenance, disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of centrifugal pumps and related rotating equipment
Serve as the technical expert and go-to lead for all field and shop pump service work at the Dallas location
Prepare detailed job quotes, estimate labor and materials, and manage job costs within budget
Work closely with company leadership to build and develop the Dallas team
Train and mentor junior technicians; eventually oversee a crew of 4–6 employees
Maintain high safety, quality, and customer service standards
Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams

Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with centrifugal pump service, repair, and troubleshooting
Strong mechanical and machining knowledge; able to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools
Plumbing and Electrical Troubleshooting
Proven ability to quote jobs, estimate materials/labor, and manage job budgets
Prior leadership experience or readiness to grow into a supervisory role
Comfortable working in both field and shop environments
Self-motivated, reliable, and committed to quality work
Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus
