Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise all construction activities.
  • Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship that conforms to plans and specifications.
  • Create, maintain critical path method (CPM) construction schedule and site logistics plan.
  • Order materials and schedule inspections as necessary.
  • Manage all trade scopes of work.
  • Manage self-performed work scopes with labor.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, building engineers, and inspectors.
  • Supervise completion of punch lists.
  • Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, a clean jobsite, and rectify job site hazards immediately.


Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma (any additional experience a plus)
  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent supervising project teams
  • Extensive experience with ground-up commercial projects (high-density multifamily, hotel/resort, hospitality, and winery/wine-related project experience strongly preferred)
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, including but not limited to subcontract documents, drawings and specifications, RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, project schedule and document control platform.
  • Working Knowledge of MS Office Suite, Scheduling Software (MS Project), and Project Management Software (Procore)
