Job Details
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE
Lead site team from construction start through project close out
Generate and maintain a production schedule for the project
Manage subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders
Oversee a safe working environment
Supervise and evaluate personnel and subcontractors
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the entire production, quality, safety, and schedule of the project
Provide management and input as needed to the trade partners scope of work
Thorough knowledge of all construction trades
Ability to read, understand, and interpret plans, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings
Knowledge of AIA Contract Documents
Knowledge of cost accounting systems
Maintain daily reports of all site activities
Prepare monthly job reviews
Provide supervisor updates on project staffing and provide input on staffing needs
Resolve contract disputes
Maintain a positive work environment and strong business ethics and integrity
Attend required corporate meetings
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Four year degree in an construction-related field or experience equivalent to a 4-year degree
5+ years of experience in ground-up new construction - Multifamily desired
Understanding of project management, estimating, scheduling, budget/cost control, negotiation, field supervision, and financial reporting.
Demonstrated organizational leadership and communication skills
Ability to understand, interpret, and implement plans, specifications, and other contract documents
Proficient with construction management software, including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, Procore
OSHA 30 Certification
