Lead Welder

Join a industrial firm that provides recycling services for oily wastes. We have operations in both Texas and Utah and has performed projects throughout the United States. We invented, developed, designed, built, installed and currently operate the most advanced thermal desorption units (TDUs) in the world. Our facilities are used to solve complex waste management and material recycling problems for our clients. We are positioned to continue to expand the application of thermal desorption to higher value materials recovery, as well as solve emerging waste management and site remediation problems.

Job Description:

Interpret drawings and plans to estimate manhours and develop bill of materials.
Produce templates and other work aids (Expert in custom fabrication)
Expert in industry tools and equipment, including powered saws, arc gouging, plasma cutting, welding machines and portable grinders.
Proficient in all methods of welding including stick, Mig and Tig welding
Proficient in welding carbon steel, aluminum, SS.304, Hastelloy, Inconel and other nickel superalloys
Weld parts in flat, vertical, and/or overhead positions
Conduct tests to check weld quality, including hydrostatic, die penetrant and dimension tolerance
Follow Company SOPs and support development of job safety analysis
Maintain proper welding equipment; troubleshoot and repair when needed
High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
