As a Permanent Lean Manager in the Manufacturing industry, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence within our organization. You will be responsible for leading and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles across all areas of our manufacturing operations. This role will provide you the opportunity to leverage your expertise in Lean methodologies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency. This position provides a dynamic, fast-paced work environment where you will be challenged to continually improve processes and outcomes.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a sustainable Lean Manufacturing strategy to optimize efficiency and reduce waste across all manufacturing operations.
2. Lead cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and implement Lean principles.
3. Facilitate training and workshops to educate staff on Lean methodologies and tools, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
4. Conduct regular audits and identify opportunities for improvement, developing action plans to address these areas.
5. Collaborate with senior management to set performance goals and KPIs that align with Lean principles.
6. Monitor and report on Lean initiatives, providing regular updates to senior leadership on progress and results.
7. Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure Lean principles are integrated into daily operations and decision-making processes.
8. Lead the change management process to ensure successful implementation of Lean initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in a Lean Manufacturing role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
3. Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies, such as Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, etc.
4. Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on detail and precision.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience.
7. Proven track record of successfully implementing Lean initiatives that have resulted in measurable improvements.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
9. Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent is preferred.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
