We are currently seeking a highly motivated, dynamic individual to join our team as a Permanent Legal Assistant in the Legal industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional who is eager to contribute their skills and knowledge to a fast-paced, innovative environment. You'll be part of a collaborative team that is dedicated to providing top-notch legal services in the sales industry. This role requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on calendar management, e-filing, filing, pleadings, and legal research.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for:

1. Managing and maintaining the legal team's calendar, including scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
2. Filing and e-filing of legal documents and pleadings, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with court rules and procedures.
3. Conducting comprehensive legal research and compiling information for the preparation of reports, cases, and legal advice.
4. Assisting in the drafting and proofreading of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
5. Coordinating and following up on deadlines, appointments, and court dates.
6. Liaising with clients, court personnel, and other professionals in a professional and courteous manner.
7. Maintaining an organized and updated filing system for all legal documents and correspondence.
8. Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining office supplies.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role.
2. Proficiency in calendar management, e-file, filing, pleadings, and legal research.
3. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and legal research software.
7. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
8. A degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field is preferred.
