We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Permanent Legal Assistant to join our fast-paced finance team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a challenging environment, has a keen eye for detail, and is passionate about the finance industry. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
1. Providing comprehensive administrative and legal support to our team of finance lawyers.
2. Managing and maintaining calendars, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference calls.
3. Organizing, filing, and retrieving corporate documents, records, and reports.
4. Preparing legal documents such as contracts, briefs, and agreements.
5. Conducting in-depth legal research and analysis on various finance-related topics.
6. Utilizing e-filing systems to file legal documents electronically.
7. Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
8. Ensuring compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
1. A minimum of five years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably within the finance industry.
2. A bachelor's degree in law, business, finance, or a related field.
3. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Proficiency in calendar management and e-filing systems.
5. Strong knowledge of corporate law and legal procedures.
6. Excellent research and report-writing skills.
7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
9. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
