We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Permanent Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a diverse range of legal matters. The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support to our legal team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office. - Provide comprehensive administrative support to our legal team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Assist with the preparation, drafting, and review of legal documents such as contracts, affidavits, and pleadings.
- Conduct thorough legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles to assist in case preparation.
- Maintain and update our case management system to ensure all case files are accurate and up-to-date.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, colleagues, and court personnel, both verbally and in writing.
- Prepare and organize legal exhibits and evidence for court proceedings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of legal research techniques, legal documentation, and legal writing.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proactive and able to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field is preferred.
