Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with case management, including drafting and filing legal documents
  • Conduct intake calls with clients and gather necessary information for their cases
  • Maintain and organize client files, including electronic and physical files
  • Schedule appointments and court appearances for attorneys
  • Communicate with clients and other parties involved in cases, including opposing counsel and court personnel
  • Conduct legal research and prepare summaries for attorneys
  • Assist with billing and invoicing for clients
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • At least 2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
