Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare, revise, and format legal documents, ensuring all paperwork is properly filled out and filed with the correct entities.
2. Manage the legal software and systems, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
3. Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates, coordinating with all necessary parties.
4. Draft and distribute professional correspondence to clients, court officials, and other legal parties.
5. Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, documents, evidence, and briefs.
6. Answer incoming phone calls, providing professional and efficient customer service.
7. Maintain open and clear communication with clients, providing updates and information as needed.
8. Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
9. Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as data entry, filing, and office management.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role in the legal industry.
2. Proficiency in legal software and systems.
3. Strong knowledge of legal terminology and documentation.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
7. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, court officials, and team members.
8. Proven experience in drafting correspondence and legal documents.
9. Experience with e-filing and scheduling appointments.
