Job Details
Responsibilities
1. Provide comprehensive legal support to our team, including drafting and proofreading legal documents and correspondence.
2. Manage electronic filing systems to ensure that legal documents are accurately recorded and stored.
3. Utilize your understanding of legal terminology to assist in document preparation and case management.
4. Prepare for depositions by organizing necessary materials and coordinating schedules.
5. Draft pleadings and other legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
6. Manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
7. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
8. Utilize Firm Central software for case management and other tasks.
9. Perform general office administration duties as required.
Qualifications
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal assistant role or a related field.
2. Proven experience with legal writing, legal document preparation, and legal assistance.
3. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
4. Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail.
5. Proficiency in Electronic Filing Systems.
6. Knowledge of legal terminology.
7. Experience with office administration.
8. A paralegal certificate is a plus.
9. Experience with Firm Central software is highly desirable.
10. Excellent time management skills.
11. Ability to draft correspondence and pleadings.
12. Experience in preparing for depositions.
13. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.
