Job Details
We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Biller / Accounting Specialist to join a fast-paced, professional services environment. This role is responsible for managing the full billing cycle, supporting accounting operations, and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing in a high-volume setting.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and process client invoices in accordance with billing guidelines
Manage full-cycle legal billing, including edits, adjustments, and write-offs
Submit electronic invoices through e-billing platforms (e.g., LEDES formats)
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
Reconcile billing records and resolve discrepancies
Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and internal teams on billing inquiries
Assist with month-end close, reporting, and general accounting support
Qualifications
3+ years of legal billing and/or accounting experience
Strong understanding of billing processes, AR concepts, and financial reporting
Experience with e-billing systems and billing software preferred
High attention to detail and accuracy in a deadline-driven environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
