Play a crucial role in advising the company on a wide range of legal matters related to business transactions, research partnerships, data compliance, privacy, and larger contract negotiations, not limited to M&As. Ability to work closely with cross-functional product teams, ensure compliance is kept and support the company's strategic business initiatives in the healthcare market.

Job Details

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and former VP General Counsel.

  • Offer expertise in contract negotiation and transactional guidance in advanced healthcare networks and innovative technology products.
  • Legal counsel to business strategy and advice on a variety of business transactions, including licensing agreements, partnership agreements, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and more.
  • Represent the company's key missions and values across contract drafts, agreements and negotiations. Ensure alignment with the company's goals and protected its interests.
  • Safeguard the company's competitive edge in data privacy, biomedical data, intellectual property rights, trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets.
  • Identify legal and business risks associated with various transactions and propose effective risk mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to inform stakeholders of potential legal implications.
  • Collaborate with leadership and department heads, not limited to product, finance, marketing, HR, and other operations, providing sound legal guidance and support in achieving business objectives.
  • Assist in managing legal disputes and litigation matters, working closely with external counsel as needed.
  • Conduct legal due diligence for potential business transactions and partnerships to evaluate legal risks and opportunities.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to the development of company policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain legal compliance and mitigate potential risks.
